It is with sadness that I have to advertise my 850cc R4 TL - Lue Lue. I have owned her for 5 years. Fantastic car which has taken us to France 3 times. Greatly admired. Unfortunately at the last MOT they discovered a crack in the chassis just where the rear axle joins the main chassis. It possibly means a body off to get in to repair it. I just don't have the time or the expertise to repair it. I'm told that it might be possible to weld it if an access hole was cut in the floor from the top. I am not sure.It has had a huge amount done to it. New gear box, braking system completely overhauled, has an SU carb, drive shafts replaced, boots replaced at same time, new shock absorbers, new tyres. It is a super car.
Engine runs like a dream.
It had major bodywork before I bought it- new wings and full respray.
Open to sensible offers.

I am in Kinross in Scotland but can deliver within reason.
I would rather see her go to a good home.

What a nice specimen!

I love that "earth" colors from '70

Really sorry for chassis.

Seems to me that could be done without removing body but can not be 100% sure just looking this one picture.

Definitely a body-off job. And it needs much care to ensure that the bracket is precisely aligned so that the rear wheel is not at an angle to the direction of travel (jig needed : possibly Malcolm can advise). If the bracket is not actually detached from the chassis member there is a good chance it can be repaired satisfactorily. Sympathy and good luck.
