Nasty and rusty, but not beyond. Pretty much complete. In North Wales. I need the space. I'd rather it went to someone who can use it in some way, but the hiab at the local scrappers looms larger every minute.

Welding - needs front ends of sills mainly, and needs a bit making around one of the rear springs (nothing major here, just a curved bit to stop it rom popping out). The body rust can be seen on the photos, but it's pretty solid in most other areas. Front of the bonnet needs work. Interior is all there but the seat fabric's gone as you might expect. It runs ok, could do with the carb cleaning out and a voltage regulator replacing. Front calipers need freeing off. I don't know about brake pipes and stuff, I've not looked underneath for a while. There's another front wing like the red one with it, pattern parts but a reasonable fit and no rot. Clutch was a bit slippy last time I drove it (about 2 years ago).

It's not a huge job to fix up if you've got the inclination and a welder, but at the moment I haven't (the inclination, that is). If you wanted it mint it'd be an uphill struggle like any proper restoration would be... I was going to paint it NATO green or something.

It's in Ruthin, Denbighshire. I really need the space but I'm always loath to scrap anything, which is why I've got so many wrecks hanging about the place...

Whooaaa!!!! That's not nasty - it's unbelievably cool!! If it wasn't for the fact that my home already looks a bit too much like a scrap yard and that I don't really have time for yet another project I'd be on the first ferry!! It would look better if it had the earlier type grill and lights though.
