I have owned him since 1989 and used him every day until I bought a Dodge 50 about 2 years ago . Been in my garage since then. sorn
Bodywork is very tatty but both front wings have been replaced
Had body taken off about 10 year ago and new outer rear suspension mountings and floor in two halves welded in.
Brake cylinders have been changed and brakepipes replaced with copper.
The 850 engine died in 2006 I bought a b reg r4 gtl as an accident write off with v good 1108 engine and gearbox which i fitted. Alloy wheels are from this car, unfortunately they have been painted. drivers seat is also from this car and does not match folding passenger seat Have lots of spares which are included .

Well spotted Allan!

I have to move house so everything has to go.
Was going to advertise the bsa stuff on ebay as there doesnt seem to be an amazing site like this one for beezas.

I have
1972 B25 not used since 1988 with T25 engine
Lots B25 parts inc middle and outer cases and cylinder head forks brakes sprockets etc etc
B44 engine in bits minus alternator and one push rod but plus carb.
Looking for £1000 for the lot

Hi Mark,

See you on saturday.

Michael

Michael,
Even though you were so vague and didnt give a phone number i felt i had to wait in all day because i didnt want you to drive all the way from Cambridge for nothing.
I wish you had shown the consideration and not waisted my day
if you wernt coming why didnt you let me know??

I offered my R4 to Michael for £400
It (he) should pass the mot with very little work
starts and runs nicely engine sounds really sweet
Has front disc brakes and floor mounted handbrake to back brakes
Any one else interested?

michaels of this world

i now how you feel i had a michael going to ring me too which didnt happen-a wasted sunday- i should now better-but i have somthing he wants-and that wont be happening-petty yes but revenge is sweet
Reg

Thanks Reg
I know exactly what you mean.
must say though that i'm sure the R4 community is a small one and only a fool shits on his own doorstep!
Was full of regret yesterday that my R4 might be going, i've had it longer than my children and it seems like part of the family. If anyone has a right hand drive F4 body in good condition i would be really interested.
Otherwise would be interested to know how much a full body restoration and a decent paint job would cost for a body in poor condition and if anyone is willing to take it on.

michaels mess on the door step

the door step couldnt have been any closer too-another puzzle perhaps

Mark, sorry we must have our wires crossed. i said it would be next saturday that i was coming hence why i asked you to hold it back and sent you my pictures. I am coming to oxford for a meeting at the university.

sorry will p.m you my number

Michael Geary you are a fantasist of the worst kind. You did send some photos and say you regretted selling your van and wished you'd put in an 1108 engine. when i asked for details of when to expect you the reply was 'see you saturday' again. if you want i will upload the email thread.
I want my R4 to go to a decent person he is not for sale to you at any price.
Regards
Mark

Hi im new to this forum and i spotted your van for sale. Could you please tell me if its sold yet please ?

claude

no sale

Sorry all
my van isn't for sale any more.
I was going to combine him with Millie
Now they're both in pieces in my garage, not quite the original plan but quite exciting non the less.
Millie is to get her chassis repaired and hopefully a full length sunroof
Yellow has been chopped about with an angle grinder but should hopefully look something like my artists impression below in the end with shortened chassis and wooden back!!
