A LITTLE BEAUTY THAT NEEDS SOME LOVING CARE TO ITS BODY! I am selling this 1984 Renault 4 GTL for a good friend. She bought it in Holland and used it in the UK before leaving for a job overseas. She purchased it from a friend in Amsterdam in 2004. He had completely overhauled the engine. Since then it has had its breaks repaired, had two new tyres and a new battery. It last passed the Dutch equivalent of our MOT in 2006. It is red and has done 113,000 miles. Obviously it is left-hand drive and currently registered in Holland. I have the Dutch owners certificate and relevant paperwork you would need to register it here if you want it to drive rather than use it for parts. As its a 1984 model there are only front seat belts. So what's wrong with it? Well it is some of the body work that is in poor condition with rust primarily on one front wing, one rear wing, the rear boot interior and the rear exterior around the rear lights. Otherwise the brakes probably need checking, the left indicator flashes to fast and the front driver side indicator bulb needs replacing. But apart from all of this it really drives well and the engine is in great condition. The wind screen wipers, windows, door locks, lights, fan, interior light all work OK. The cassette radio needs some attention with its wiring but apparently otherwise works. It uses little oil and water and the exhaust looks fine. It will be sold as seen.
