Bought Rosie in 2009, since when she's been out to Spain but is now back in the UK, currently on SORN. After purchasing her some welding underneath was carried out (surprise, surprise!) for the MOT in 2009 and I then used her sparingly for 6 months before we moved out Spain, where she was used very little.

Good bits:
Apart from the white wheels (which I think enhance the appearance), she is very original. Mileage was warranted genuine by the vendor, and the engine runs quietly and with lots of power. Brakes, clutch, tyres, exhaust, battery etc all fine. Fitted with the original working radio/cassette, in the correct housing. Have MOTs going back to 1995 when the mileage was 23602 - this tends to bear out that the current mileage is genuine. Also records of the transfer of ownership from the original owner and the change of numberplate by the second owner. Also, the original tax disc holder from Renault Western Avenue, and most tax discs going back to 1993. Finally, the original sales brochure from which the first owner presumably bought.

Bad bits:
Her paintwork, which was already thin in places due to previous owners' zealous polishing, has suffered somewhat in the Spanish sun. Has the usual rust on the tops of the front wings and in the offside rear wing seam, also in the offside end of the front bumper, and the usual odd dents. Gutter trim is only partial. Front passenger seat fabric has worn thin (suspect it was originally on the driver's side). Will need an offside outer CV joint and boot as this was damaged by the A-frame towing her during her journey back from Spain.

Unknown
I don't know what repairs might need carrying out (apart from the CV/boot) and regrettably have no pix of those floorpan/suspension areas that need checking - you'll have to come and look!. Although, as mentioned, not many miles since the previous welding needed for the 09 MOT and she's been sitting in a dry climate.

Rosie could be restored to everyday use very easily and with minimal outlay, or could form the basis for a relatively straightforward restoration to top condition. I'm only selling her as my wife and I need money for a business venture - I'll be really sad to see her go, but go she must! As she's on Sorn and with the CV problem she'll need to be trailered away. Any questions or to come and view (no time-wasters please!), just email me on nickarnott1@gmail.com. Advertised on ebay with a reserve of £1600.
