My mother's '85 GTL has been pranged and is economical write off. It has damage to front left wing, lamps and bonnet. Still drive able, definitely rescuable, but will be crushed in 10 days unless someone can take it on. It is at G and R Harris Ltd, Chichester, West Sussex. 01243 372866. My mother is desperate, but is moving house so she is unable to do anything about it. She also has a spare wheel, headlamp, side lights, a couple of doors, and possibly front grill, all free to collect from her house near Midhurst, West Sussex ASAP due to the house move. Thanks.

Hi Abel, there have been quite a few people on the forum who have been in your situation. From what I can gather, it's possible to be able to buy your car back again from the insurance company for the insured book value, which in a R4's case, is probably not that much. Then you'll be able to sell it or keep it and have it repaired yourself.
Perhaps you should try and take some photos of the damage and someone on this forum would be able to tell you how fixable it is.
