Selling my GTL largely due to lack of use and partly due to reorganising the fleet!
I bought this car from another forum member who had done the following jobs before selling it - new cylinder head gasket and water pump, rear suspension repaired (and properly repaired - all corrosion cut out and repaired to a very high standard so it is VERY solid).
I was intending take it to Thenay but took my F6 in the end. The GTL has had a very quiet life and has covered just 700 miles in the last year (and has been dry stored at my storage place the rest of the time).
I have also done the following jobs -
Replaced n/s/f wing
New deCarbon rear shock absorbers
New front grille
Rear seatbelts fitted
Two new tyres (20 miles ago!)
Repainted bumpers
New chrome trim on roof gutters
New handbrake cables + rear brakes striped and cleaned etc
Oil & filter change
New radiator fan switch
New drive belts
It is a very solid, late model, drives great and is ready for summer and doesn't really need anything doing! Interior is immaculate and has working period radio cassette with speakers under dashboard rather than cut into trim.
The only (very minor) bad points are -
o/s/f door has a very small dent
Paint slightly worn on parts of roof
Small amount of corrosion on rear wings (see picture - not bad but if you were planning on using it through winter then maybe get it sorted but it hasn't got worse in the last year)
I was planning on keeping it but two small children and a business mean its not getting much use and not really likely to either.
Price - £3250 or sensible offers thereabouts
