I can't drive two so reluctantly I will try to sell this Savanne with only 61,450 kilometres on the clock (40,000 miles?). MOT'd and Taxed, waxoiled and ready to go. Mechanically and body wise no problems at all, this R4 is ready to enjoy for the final few weeks of summer weather to come. As you will see it is LHD but really these cars are so narrow driving and overtaking as not a problem. The interior is clean and tidy, I have had the drivers seat rebuilt and recovered.
There are some paint chips to touch up, and the previous owner used an aerosol to tidy a couple of previous chips which should really be redone, but the problem is cosmetic not corrosive.
As the car is almost from the last batch ever made and because the relatively low mileage I think it is worth £2500 and am reluctant to part with it, give me a call let me know your thoughts. It is a very clean, sound example of an R4.
07919 350 301 thanks for looking.

Still for sale R4 Savanne.

Hello Forum,
I am surprised by the small number of interested fellow members in the sale of this car. This is a late production model manufactured in 1992, from a non salty road country and there is no underlying corrosion. I've seen RHD examples for sale and on EBay and they cannot be as solid as this is. Prices seem to have dipped a bit so the price could be negotiable if anyone is interested.
Thanks for your time. John.

Hi, just a thought but if there's 100 members who by the nature of being members all each own (at least) one R4 already, then maybe all the converted already have their hands full?

Hope you sell it by the way... maybe ebay beckons, or I suggested to someone else trying a website called 2cvtv.com. Its for all things 2cv but I think most 2cv enthusiasts have a soft spot for R4's and the lower price compared to a similar condition 2cv might be tempting for someone whos 'always wanted one of those'. I'm not affiliated to the website mentioned.

Thanks to all those who have contacted me recently, I've decided to keep Savanne for the time being. Hope you find something suitable and soon. John Holmes
