I have a three speed 'box from an early 4 on which I'm inviting offers.
It wasn't in a car when I got it so I don't know a great deal about its internal condition and I don't know whether or not it's the really early type (i.e. without synchro on first gear). I can say however that the casing appears to be undamaged, all the gears select properly and it turns smoothly and silently by hand, so the box is probably a good 'un.
