Hi
Is anybody planing a trip to the 4L international meeting in Thenay France in June?
Its advertised in the Renault 4 magazine and looks like it could be a big one! But these french do's are a little rough around the edges compared to some here at home...so best not get your hopes to high...

I am hoping to do a mad round trip as I have just bought a Spanish early 70's 4L and will time the drive back to pull the event in... But as we all know a 1000 miles in an unknown 40 year old car can be a little unpredictable, but fun!

It's only available in France although I'm almost certain they do subscriptions.

I'm quite tempted to go myself, not sure it would be in R4 though. The event at Loheac last year was excellent so I would certainly recommend it if you can manage it.

First time on your forum so firstly hello, we bought our 4l a couple of months back, and we're looking for some meets to attend this summer. We live in central france so this sounds ideal, do you have any more info or know where I can find out more? Also are there any events we can enjoy during the english summer? We can't wait to drive her over.

Hello Florence! How nice to meet another lady member. This forum is becoming a very civilised place.

If you look at the 'my cars' section at the top of the page you'll see that it was Florence the R4 that started Malcolm off on his lifelong lunacy.

There's the Kent Run on the Sunday of the Bank Holiday at the end of May. I think Malcolm, Ian and Pepper will be going. There'll be more about it nearer the time.

The subscription to the UK costs 32 Euros for 6 issues.

The cost of the 4L mag in the newsagents went up this month to 5.50 euros. So now the subscription for France is 27.50 and for the rest of Europe 34.50.

You get a free gilet too. That's worth 5 euros!

Stuart - publishing full email addresses on the forum could lead to them getting spam. Changing the @ to (at) should help to alleviate the problem.
