Or is it an R3? Put this on eBay a few weeks ago, 1500 lookers but no bidders, so will do the floor repair & maybe replace the bent wings, then get an mot on it. What would it be worth then? It is 1120 but does not have the 3rd window.

If it is an R1120 it is an early R4, with the 747cc engine. R3s were R1121 (602cc).

Early R4s had that feature. It is a bit difficult to tell from my Parts Book but it looks as if, initially, both solid and glazed panels were available, depending on buyer choice. Some early 1123s (845cc) seem to have had them as well. They feature in Parts Books up to 1970 (up to book PR808) but are gone in that for 1971 on (PR953) so it looks as if they had a lengthy availability period.

Hi from a new member, but lifelong R4 enthusiast/owner/driver; am still chastising myself for missing your Toulouse Council R4 when it was for sale on eBay earlier this year (was away and couldn't get down to Kent for a viewing/purchase). Look forward to seeing this one on ebay again with an MOT, if you do bring it to the UK. Hope you decide to retain the rustic French patina Best wishes, K.
