Hi all
When I stripped down my car, I found that the feed cable to the tank sender was badly chafed and cut it back. The sender was toast as well and so I bought a new one, attached a length of wire to it before reassembly of the body back onto the chassis....and now I can't find the free end of the connecting wire that was part of the main loom. Nor can I remember where it was going!
(Old age is a dreadful thing)
The schematic in the manual suggests that it comes under the car floor and connects into the loom on the nearside of the engine, but the wiring diagram suggests that it plugs into the loom at the rear near the rearlights.
I don't appear to have any spare connections in either location!!
Any ideas? Do I go back to first principles and wire it back to the main fuseboard?
