ABS light/Speedo

Hi, just bought 1999, mk1 Megane Scenic a few months ago, yesterday out of no where Stop, Service, (!) and ABS lights all come on, on the dash and Speedo drops to zero, it did fix itself for a few minutes but then happend again, this keeps happening on and off. read some places could be ABS sensor, will i need a diagnostic test done or not? renault charge £80 just for diagnostic check.

Any advice would be welcomed.

yes it would be cost effective to have a dealer test, as the speedo and miles are conected and run through the a.b.s computer
these do go faulty and also do the speed sensor in the g/box
A>B.S computer lots of money g/box speed sensor is mch cheeper.

hi can anyone help me my renault megane 1.5 diesel i got in it and started up up and the miles went off and they are not comeing back on any body know why this as happined
