Advice on rear suspension mounting/welding

I could do with some opinions please on this as Im not sure what to do it looks to me that the car has had an older restoration and whilst I find it hard to believe for a UK car from what I've read and seen this area whilst scabby is still actually quite solid cant see any weld repairs to suggest replacement like there has been on the inboard chassis rail by where the shock mounts but looks a tidy repair and in good shape. I havent got the linisher in to this so it could get much worse think thats half the problem I cant get into clean it all up properly am I kidding myself it's saveable? I know the pic showing the corner of the floor will need a repair. Im also attempting to get the rear wing off I've ground through the 3? bolts removed 4 rivets will there also be spotwelds on the front and rear seams or is it just sealant thats holding it.. thanks in advance for any info & sorry for the questions I'm new here & only familiar with VWs

The sealant is difficult to remove. I normally use a heat gun to soften the sealant so I can cut through with a knife.

There are photos of all the normal rust spots on https://www.renault4.co.uk/renault-4-restoration.htm which might help work out what the structure should look like.
