Another screeching noise

hi can anyone help please my 1100 gtl is making an intermittent screeching noise for about10 seconds on and off ,it's really quite loud,has anyone any ideas please

Seized alternator belt tensioner?

But without a bit more detail were clutching at straws.

All the belts ,the water and fuel pump rad are new,the alt looks in good condition,does always come on ,could it be the clutch ?or perhaps the speedo cable , very annoying !does nt do it when stationary

Any suggestions appreciated !

I'm thinking the fan belt tension needs checking. Is it worse in cold weather?

I have an R4 that is suffering a screech under load - particularly when I change down to 3rd or 2nd gear... my mechanic thinks its a CV joint - I'm not so sure... thoughts welcome
