Marry Christmas everybody!
One strange "problem"....
When car is cold (first start), if clutch pedal is pressed, car won't start. Instrument cluster lights light up, but engine doesn't turn over. Only one click sound can be heard. When clutch is not pressed, car starts normaly. Any ideas why is that the case?

Ah ha! A Merry Christmas to you too, although I understand you celebrate Christmas 12 days after the Anglican Church does!
As to your car's problem, depressing the clutch avoids the starter motor from turning the gearbox, which reduces the strain on it, but the friction caused by the bearing being held down may well be more than this, hence the starter's inability to turn the engine. It might be a sign of a weak battery, too.

If this were a modern car, the diagnosis would be easy: it's a safely feature!

Thanx.
I do celebrate Christams on 07 of January, but, my wife celebrates hers on 25 of December, so, I have two Christmases (if that even makes any sence).
I did put new battery 6 months ago.
I just read what I've posted. I meant to write that my car won't start when the clutch is pressed. Sorry.

" I did put new battery 6 months ago" -In your wife? -surely not?? .. batteries Do need charging all the time-especially when it's cold outside-get one of those smart-chargers that you can leave connected All the time... BEWARE- the "small" chargers from C-Tec are shit! They won't be able to REcharge a battery that's down even 0.2 volts! -IF you go for them you Have to get a bigger model ,or-just leave it and get another brand.
-also their cords are stiff as He** in the winter when most of us use chargers. It's like a wrestling-match with a boozed-up villan to get the cords sorted outside...
PS: -I'll get my alfs to correct my gift-lists so you and your wife won't get Double presents next Chistmas..-talk about cock-up HRMMMM.
I'll give the alfs a good beating -mark my words.............. SantaReid.
