Any tips how to best tackle windscreen rot

Hi peeps any tips on how to best go about repairing this windscreen rusted area? Thanks in advance

I am afraid you will must add missing/rotten metal.
No easy way around for this place.
New plate must be made and welded.

a better doner car would be great to get unrusted pieces for repairs

Get a copy of MR-176 (https://www.fichier-pdf.fr/2013/02/06/m-r-176-00-1/) to see how the body work steel is formed and applied in the various sections. The site La4ldesylvie is indeed a great and good source on R4 diy.
Everything is doable.

Hi thanks is that the front section of windscreen where mine is rusted please? Can you ship to a Uk address as i am based in Malta and will have them brought over to the island?

Offcourse! I'm happy to send the sections. I knew they would become handy for someone one day.

They are the front lower corners (the largest one is for the right side, small one is the left corner). Let me know your adress, and i will send 'em to you.

Well Jurjen, good to see that Louise's body parts are transplanted on several R4's.
This piece from Louise is next year to be welded in place onto my GTL.
