automatic gearboxes or gear stick?

Hi all. The saga of my three wheeler build “betty” go’s on. I’ve sorted the handling problem; I made a new anti -roll bar 18mm. I’m now turning my attention to the drive train. I’m contemplating putting an automatic gearbox in. just to do away with the gear stick, but I’m struggling finding any information. Can anyone can help? Or has any one seen gear leaver modifications that I may use? Just to make it look different. Steve I

If you have space for a floor mounted gearstick then parts from a Mk1 Renault 5 would fit the R4 GTL gearbox. You would need the gearlever assembly, the gearbox top cover, and various linkages and cables.

I've not a clue about automatics, though linkages and cables will probably play a part for the kickdown. Can't believe an early auto (even a Renault one) would be very nice to live with.

If you have the space for a floor mounted gear lever then I have all the parts. Fitting an auto box would give even more headaches!
