Been away for a while, but now back to it!

Hi everybody, I hope you're enjoying the spring! Here in Denmark the weather is gorgeous at the moment - albeit cold.

I haven't been to the forum for years now, and the last time I drove my 4 was spring/summer last year, as the brakes needs servicing. Now it misfires and I still need to do the brakes, and then service, rust and paint. Plus a thorough clean in and outside.

I also have some other Renault news, as my trusty Panda 169 (my idea of a modern R4) will be replaced in June by a brand spanking new Renault 5 electric in techno trim, with a towbar, and of course in bright yellow.

How's everybody been? Are the garages around Europe as full of projects as always?

I viewed and Fondled the New R5 in Yellow two weeks ago.
Having owned 6 Mk 1s the Electric reincarnation is mind blowingly so refreshing in a world of dull cars, that I am really convinced this will also be a platform for a Hybrid. It has been said by Renault this is a 15 year production car, so watch this space.
Apart from my older Renaults, 4F4 etc, We also run a New Clio Alpine Hybrid which is a sublime drive. Way to go fingers crossed for ze 5.

Haha, did the 5 like you fondling it?
It will be a hit I'm sure, and the holistic approach to the production and delivery (and recycled materials) is so nice to see.
Ooh, so are you thinking of replacing the clio with a 5?

The towbar is annoyingly expensive here (9400 DKR ~ 1200 GBP) - you get it for 600 as far as I've seen. But the 500kg limit matches perfectly to my trailer
