Black metal exterior side Window trim

Hello
my new renault 4 ' s Window black metal surrounds are a little Rusty in places and wondered if they can be easily replaced .
And if so where can they be purchased from ?

The window surrounds were plastic on cars after 1981(ish). If you need to replace yours the best bet is to find a secondhand set of plastic ones from a later car. If yours are only rusty in places then you are lucky - they normally disintegrated. The metal ones are screwed in. Pull out the seal and undo the screws to remove (grind out the rusty ones).

Thanks so much . My ones have some surface rust so might get them refurbished and grinder and I have been quoted £800 for an exterior respray in mint green at a place in crystal palace. I will speak to them .
