Hello,
I have a cast iron rear axle which is missing the bracket that the brake compensating valve hooks onto. Can anyone show a photo of what it ought to look like? Even better, has someone got a spare?

Is this what you need

Maybe I have one to spare! Need to check condition!

Thanks for the photo Petak, this is the bit I need, circled. On the cast iron arms it appears to be bolted on, whereas on the pressed steel arms it is welded.

On the cast iron rear legs that bracket looks a bit different.
I tried to take some pictures ...
That white "knob" you see in the pictures rotates when the rear axle is suppressed.

Marigold is off the road at the moment, and I'm just trying to catch up with few jobs and get her back on the road as soon as possible. I just happened to look at the brake compensator and noticed it not doing a lot as the plastic and steel link rod has seen better days. However Tom, here are a few more pictures for you to look at, and if any of you out there has a spare rod I would like to hear from you. Regards Brian.
By the way, the reason it all looks a bit oily around the swinging-arm and torsion-bars is because I'm trying to raise the back suspension, so its just Duck Oil you can see.
