Buying an R4 in France- Advice.

Having seen lots of nice R4s in good nic in France I wondered if anyone has experience/ advice on buying one?
I am mainly worried about importing- how to do it and tax, log book, MOT-if it needs a french and UK MOT, and insurance to get it home. Also I guess insurance would be a bit higher for LH drive.

Thanks for any help. (I'm still saving my shiny euros up, so I'm not in a rush to buy yet!)

If anybody wants advice on the Spanish side of things, email me on gpovanman@hotmail.com. There are a lot of rust free ones over there, but the paperwork can be a right pain in the arse!!
