c15 van or renault extra??

might buy myself a cheap little van for work as my anglia van is off the road and the r4 is taking longer than expected

i was just wondering if anyones had either a citroen champ c15 van or a renault extra and what they thought of them

not seen any yet in the flesh or drivin either of them before
although the extra vans do seem to be a bit more rusty from the adverts ive looked at

not really a reanult 4 topic i know but they are both french so i thought someone might have some info

I had three C15's when I used to do courier work in the UK, did probably the best part of half a million miles in them, and for my money the best small diesel van you could get. Simple to work on, cheap to run, amazing amount of stuff would go in them, and if you looked after them you could get an awful lot of miles out of them before they fell to bits.
Downside - not very sophisticated, noisy by modern standards - the car it was based on goes back to 1979 - but a good tool.
Never had a Renault Express - someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you could get a pallet in one so they were not popular in the courier trade.
