can you tell me the colour???

hi people have been trying to find a paint code for the colour of Albert, our r4. its a 1982 car all stencils are missing off wings and cant really make anything out of the chassis plates. v5 says it white(helpfull!!) have already tried 109, which is miles out. if I can get an idea of a couple of possibilities, then it will save us ordering tester pots for all whites!!! the first photo is after a session of scratch remover and polish, the second with the flat paint it arrived with!!!! any help would be ace and help get albert moving again!!!! cheers in advance!!!! hoylz

The correct code is 355. This is the colour of both my 1972 (English) and 1984 (French) machines. The 1972 is coded 355 S1B, the 1984 355 B (don't know what the last digits signify). The number should (unless your car has already been repainted) be found on the leading edge of the right-hand front inner wing.

Try 319, too, it was common on this era R4s.

Hi people have now tried 109, 319 and 355, the first too grey and the others to white, its more beige/cream than white. Any pointers to any more "off" whites would be a help. Its 1982 uk supplied car.
