Here I am! What I'm going to describe I have already noticed with the old carburetor (zenith 28IF) as well as with the new Zenith 32IF one.
When the engine is hot and I turn it off, after less than a minute, gasoline starts to enter in the Venturi. Part of it starts to leaking out of the throttle valve lever, part of it drips in the manifold. That continues for a while, so happen that I find difficult to restart the engine when it is still hot.
The gaskets are new and the needle valve is in its correct "position".
Reading Haynes manual, I found this interesting note. It is referred to a 28if carburetor, but it could be applied to a 32if as well, couldn't it? (sorry for pic quality).
If making a fuel return line can resolve the fault, I wonder if the plugged pipe on my fuel pump is for a return line, so that I could use that to make the new line.
What do you think about it?
