Changing the front Springs

Hi all
Can anyone tell me how to change the front right Spring on my 1997 Renault Megane Scenic or where I can find out how to do it on the web. Thanks Sal

Hi Sal,

The springs are fairly straighforward on the Scenic, they should take you about an hour each side. Although you mention the right it is recommended that you do both together. You will need a Coil Spring compressor kit, please be careful with this procedure as these can slip off and damage you or anything around you.
You do need a vice to complete this job easily. Are you having a particular issue or do you need the whole procedure?

Thanks wrenchstoriches but I was not able to get a reply in time so I just let a car shop replace it. It was only 50 Euros to do the job. But thanks for a reply

50 Euros is quite cheap it was probably best that you let a garage do the work it can take a while if you’ve never done that kind of thing before.
