We're a Renault 4 forum (it's a rattly thing they made a long time ago) so not a lot of people here will be able to help.
On a petrol engine the compression ratio tends to be reduced when a turbo is fitted. Whether that's also the case for diesel engines I don't know, but it's a question that's worth asking of folk that might know. Otherwise it ought to be a bolt on job so long as any ECU or sensors are from the turbo car.
