Mail Attachment.jpegHi.all. i have these seats in Ronnie. When we bought the car we cleaned the seats but they became "sticky" and so we threw a cloth over them and just used the car, thinking we would return to the problem later. The cloth got pulled around, as it does, and revealed fluff off the cloth stuck all over the vinyl seats. They are not attractive at all. Can anyone suggest a method of re cleaning and then finishing off the seats, so we can avoid the cloth throw over. Thanks.

I’ve found Mr. Muscle/Cillit Bang kitchen spray cleaner is as good as any car products on the vinal ‘leather’ in my van.

Whatever you do -do not use Any domestic/household liquid containg fat -as all other ingrediance in it will evaporate and so leave
a fatty greasy substance.
I would have cleaned them with lukewarm water with normal household vinegar
If you have greasy dirty steeringwheel/dashboard/gearknob etc etc try pure vinegar 7-35% It dissolves grease & dirt easy as that!

-A secret trick of the trade is to feed vinegar into all kinds of leather and hide to soften it and revitalize it as it softens hide/leather.
It also serves as an antioxydant. After it has dried you just buff surface off with a dry tovel..
so don't wipe it off-just leave it till dry. The smell of vinegar will be gone as soon as it dries.
I'm Not pulling your leg-just try it..
Oh and yes; it doesn't have to be white or redwine vinegar just the normal stuff... -Reid

Have you tried Swarfega? Worked well on my Mini vinyl seats many years ago when there weren't so many specialist products available. It acts as a degreasing agent that emulsifies when washed away with water. You'll end up with very clean hands too!
