These are still available from Renault. Don't repair the frayed one!!

Steve - when you say they're available from Renault - do you mean Renault UK? Or Renault.fr?

Renault UK. They should have one in stock as it's a consumable item. If they don't have one, they'll get it from France. Try your local friendly (or unfriendly) dealer first. Any hassle - go to Whitehouse Renault. The link is on this site somewhere.

Is it for a GTL ? if so i have a brand new unused one .

It's a 3 speed - so it might be different. Thanks anyhow - I might just try and get it repaired I think.
