Condensation problem / Insulation?

Could anyone recommend some padding I could insert between the ceiling cover and the roof? As you can see there's a condensation problem there. I am having the inside surface of the roof panel re-sprayed so at least it will stop rusting, but the bodyshop suggested added a bit of insulation between the white plastic and the roof metal -
does anyone have suggestions for what to use, or experience adding insulation in this way?
Also, any recommendations for where to source new rubber seals for the doors?
Many thanks

hi. what i did was use some multi foil insulation by a company called Actis. Its like 15 mirrored emergency blankets each separated by a very thin foam layer, all quilted together. It reflect heat out of the car as well so keeps it cool in summer and warm in winter. If you contact Actis and ask for a sample, and explain, they should send it to you. At least they did for me 5 years ago. Its the same insulation you see quilted in the cargo bay of the space shuttle. I also sprayed the "ceiling" panel.

Thanks Edwin, I have had a look at https://www.insulation-actis.com/files/actis/pdfs/en/literature/Actis-brochure-hybrid.PDF and they seem to offer a lot of different products, with a lot of them at least 35mm thick (3.5cm about 1.5inches). Is that not too thick for the cavity? The other issue is where I have seen this for sale it's in rolls of about 15 square meters and therefore quite expensive... any thoughts?

If you ask for sample, maybe about 1.5m long ! You might try asking for the names of a contractor near you that has bought some to try and get from the contractor what is a very small off cut. It is expensive stuff, so the excercise is to weasel a bit. Re the thickness. Because its multi layered, you can peel off the thickness you need. If you fill the cavity between the ceiling and the roof there is little air with vapour in it to condense.

Thanks, will have a go!
