Hello everybody, I ordered a set of the cylinder sleeve seals but now that I have them I'm wondering which are the thckest.
There are red stripped, blank and black stripped ones.
It's a Glaser R30745-00 set.
Thanks everybody!

I tried, but the caliper isn't the best tool to measure the tickness because the differences are really small.
Also the paper is quite sensible to the pressure of the tool...

Hi Leonardo, as far as I can remember, the red stripe are the thickest, then the black stripe and then the plain white ones.

But the thickness of the paper is irrelevant. The most important factor is the liner protrusion above the cylinder block after they have been fitted. This measurement has to be between 0,04mm and 0,12mm. Put a flat ruler over the liner opening and slide a feeler gauge between the ruler and the block

To get the same measurement on all 4 liners it might be necessary to use a different colour/thickness on each liner. I used red on cylinder 1 and 2 and the black stripe one on cylinder 3 and 4. My overall clearance on all 4 liners was 0,05mm

Have a look at my post on Jan 19th
