Hello everyone

I have a sand/light tan coloured dash (1968) thats faded. The original colour is great... I love it.
I have heard of vinyl 'dye' aerosols and plastic compatible aerosol paints.

Does anyone have any experience of these or know where I could try?

Its not too far off RAL 1011

I have used an aerosol made by 'Plastikote' and found it to be very good quality. But I dont think they produce a suitable colour.

Any experience or suggestions appreciated!

a good paint/laquer-shop will be able to mix the colour of your choise and fill onto normal aerosol-can.
most mportant is to clean dash before starting.use some "normal" kitchen/bathroom-cleaner,If you mix
in a little baking-soda this will give you that extra rubbing-power,be sure to wash real good after and
let thorougly dry b4 you start paint.
No need to go for any special paint, just find and use the colour you like, and stick spray-can in 30C.
water-bath first (10-15mins) for best result
Shakeit up good first then it's all Go
Wet-on wet in several THIN layers gives best result... -R.

That's really interesting! Thank you some very good tips there. Wet on wet and warm can up. Would never have thought of it but I can see it makes sense.
Yes will take dash to paint supplier so they can match colour to an unfaded section
