DESPERATE FOR A SPEEDO HEAD

Has anyone got a speedometer head for sale for a 1977 850 R4TL ? REally need to get one sorted out as mine is not winding up mileage and has no needle on the speedometer ?
in mph or km either will do as we have km's here.

popped down to the garage to have a look,the one I have must be older ?? it's got a light brown colored facia,goes to 130km's made by Jaeger and it says
094160 01 09 Combi E 8 and Avril on a sticker on it.I'll have another look to see if I find another one like yours... Hang in there

Sorry for getting your hopes up Andy-Had another look but it wasn't where it was supposed to be ,will take 4ever to rummage through the huge pile I've

Found several new old stock when iwas looking for a later 85 f6 van today so may have one for you will let you know as they are all slightly different and no real way of testing they still work

Cheers mr reno, spin a match stick in the speedo cable end and if the needle moves that good enough for me

this is the actual speedo head fitted to my car with the main numbers being in MPH if this helps this is what I am looking for ? desperately !!

still haven't found late speedo that i am looking for as have got one off somewhere but looking through my scrap f6vanfound this complete speedo which is the same as on my yellow perilthis 1 works and can find how much it cost to post to cyprus what else are you still looking for as may be able to do a big package for the same price postage any idea of cheapest route

Will the speed read right ?? as mine only shows up to 80mph and this one is 90mph ?

I see this one is Jaeger and mine is Veglia ? is there any difference ?

I will need a speedo cable as well as I was not winding miles up on the odometer so I assume its not there, or maybe siezed up ?

Got family visiting this week so not able to get much done on the poor thing at the moment but did manage to get the new front side/indicators fitted and the new rear light lens today while my mother was asleep haha.

Please let me know what you think about them being interchangeable and I will check to see if there is anything else needed......

I imagine you have a better idea than me on postage from the UK...if it is too expensive with Royal Mail I have a friend who is coming over for a holiday later this year who lives in Stamford so it could go there

bit more tidying up and i have found the new ones i was talking about no idea which one is right or what fits what
do you know what length speedo cable that you needas has got a massive pile of new ones with screw on fittings and have you tested yours actually is broken yet

OOOOOOOOOOOO treasure trove !!!!! No I still have my mother here until Sunday evening bumming a free holiday so as soon as she has gone I will get out and check the speedo cable for breaks and fitting type and length.......is there anyway I can assist with identifying the speedo ? will mine have some part numbers or anything that will help you ??
