Hi,
Just curious as to how i should proceed with this part of my disassembly. Should i drain the brakes somewhere first? I was thinking I would unscrew the four lines from the brake master cylinder. Any recommendations or precautions any one can think of? Ill be attacking it again in the morning.
thanks
Nicky

If you are planning to fit new brake lines (good practice) then it's handy to cut through the old brake pipes using wire cutters (side cutters). That seals the pipes to stop fluid leaks and prevents dirt getting into the connectors. Probably worth draining the fluid through a bleed nipple as it will all come out when you remove the connectors to fit the new pipes.

wasnt planning on replacing them but I'll investigate further. Need to track down my manual.
thanks
