Door latch loose

Hi. I notice that the drivers side door latch plate on the pillar is loose, and rattles. I have tried to tighten the screw fixings but they are as tight as can be already. The latch plate and it’s mounting look exactly the same as the one on the other door which it tight and fixed. Is there a shim or washer I am missing? Again, any advice. Thank you. Edwin
