I wonder if they left both engines in place. Can you imagine the fun you could have with burn outs.

At least you wouldn't have any problems with the rear suspension mountings rusting away, but I wonder what it's like to drive if you don't have at least one set of wheels facing dead ahead. I can't imagine it would do much for tyre wear or handling...

I should imagine the passenger seat faces backwards so the passenger can control the other stering wheel. With some practice and good communication it should make for a very manoeuvrable car.

Reminds me of Dazey from the Panic Mechanics TV program. My friend Ralph built it - there are 2 drivers. One is upside down, and they share pedals and steering.

There was one very similar built in the UK in the '70's, I think it was Blue Anchor Bay garage, possibly from Kent as a promotional vehicle. Sure I've got a photo somewhere....i'll go have a look!
