Ducellier 6185 starter motor refurbishment - recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good company to service/refurb a Ducellier starter motor from my 79 R4F4?
After much basic electrical diagnosis after I got the the "click of death" I think the next bit is beyond me now!

There's a firm in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, called "Unit Exchange", who refurbish starters, dynamos et al. I can personally vouch for their good workmanship. Full details if required by P.M.

Try misterauto if you get stuck ,you might get free delivery at the mo they are doing it in France as there are problems with the post and point relais

Thanks for this I think the alternator might be next! I am trying to keep the original bits where I can.

Hi Bandido. I have the Ducellier alternator available. As stated it is as new in a box. It came from a 1978 850 cc car. You can see pics in my advert top of page 7 on parts for sale. I have not made a huge effort to sell it, just a couple of announcements, and I am open to offers. But it is as new. Edwin
