Electric windscreen washer conversion

I have fitted a Lucas pump conversion utilising the existing water bottle.
Pump is working as it should but is not drawing liquid out of the bottle.

Has anyone done an electric pump upgrade and how did you go about it please?
Any comments appreciated. Thanks.

I did, but I bought one of the standard kits. So it just worked.

Although the squirter is too close to the windscreen so the squirt goes directly up in the air and unless at terminal velocity it only just scrapes the windscreen. A friend of mine that I just sold his car for, drilled two holes in the bonnet and they worked much better, although it means messing up the bonnet a bit.

Yes certainly I must say I am not very impressed with location of jet.
I have a standard kit on the shelf so maybe I will go in that direction.
Thanks for comment

you may have got a kinked pipe on the washer jet as the angle is really tight depending on what sort of Rubber you are using it may of crushed it
try a blowing through the pipe where it exits the pump and also tri running the pump with this pipe disconnected as if it will pick water at that point then it should forceit through to the jet

Try the wiper mounted jets from an old Peugeot :)

I just fitted a similar kit and it worked fine until I put the plastic air vent cover/flap back on, turned out that was pinching the pipe behind it.
