Engine holder?

Since I can't find a mechanic willing to work on my 1108 cc engine it seems that my father and I will have to do the work. The first thing to do is to build the engine holder? Has anyone made one of these? If so do you have any advice or drawings/photos? I am thinking about something like this.

Is so difficult to find a mechanic to work on our engines? It's a matter of time (and money) or of ability? I had my engine rebuilt a month ago and my mechanic did it as it was a normal work (quite expensive work but, in the end, I think cheaper than rebuilding a newer engine)... It is a quite young mechanic, too... He works on many old cars as to normal newer ones, but I think any mechanic would work on my car...
Is the situation so different in northern europe? Or on the other side of the sea, as in your case...

I've been to three different garages and at the end no one was willing to do the job. I did not ask about money nor the time required, I want things done. They all say that they lack the exprience with these engines. It seems that mechanics have become part swappers, at least over here.

I will try few more mechanics and if all fails we will try to do it ourselves.

Bring it here at my place!
It will be done!;)

It is near by!
