Engine movement

Can anyone let me know what direction carb or alternator side engine moves to when revved trying to work out a clearance issue and roughly depending on condition of mounts amount of travel thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure it can move in both directions. What's the issue?

Building another hybrid using a 1289 with seperate inlet manifold being left hand drive it's rather close but not fouling

i am rebulding a F6 van and was looking at finding a bigger engine. i would be interested in what engine are you using being a 1289.

you can cheat a little and put a thin spacer washer under engine mounting to raise it slightly common problem with gordini engine
