Engine

210B is NOT R2108.
Therefore, it has the French 3-bearing B1B engine (845cc). Don't know what the 02 means.
Can you give us the numbers in the middle row of the oval plate? It would be interestinf to see if the La Poste vans had different equipment numbers.

I just checked middle numbers say 41 500 1UO
They are also supplied with snow tyres and a booklet on when and how to use them, with a La poste logo so I think this is a LA POSTE thing.
It has a little tool hatch behind the seats lockable and a metal chequer plate barrier that slips into latch holes.
It also has a big red handle under the dash that locks off the battery terminals
The tyres on it are 145s at the moment.
According to my Carte Gris they used the vehicle to 1999 as the next person was the deuxieme whom I purchased it from

Let me correct myself...210B is 1108cc rather than 845cc. I have found a very useful table to stop this confusion with vehicle type/engine...however it does not list the Spanish R1125 and the mystery R1129 (I have seen it in parts lists, don't know what it is...maybe 1108 with GPL instead of petrol???).
500 is definitely special equipment. Very interesting to have such an R4!
