Exaust liquid

Hello, does anybody know why is there liquid coming out of my exaust? I just had the Renault 4 serviced.

I'm sure that's pretty basic but I know little about mechanics, and I don't want my new exaust to be messed up.

This is normal Richard. It's called water - a by product of combustion!!

hey thanks Steve, that's just unbelievably helpful.

I thought I remembered hearing somewhere that sometimes petrol that wasn't completely burned came out the exaust causing damage, but i guess it's not that.

Anyway, there's a queer whistling noise coming from the engine now. I wonder what that is.
