Just on the off chance has anyone an exhaust manifold for a 956cc kicking about and for sale, after much investigation looks like mines toast

Got one in the Netherlands. But you might look closer at home first.

Never had a problem what's up with it
Probably find one if your stuck usually gasket problem

The right hand Studd snapped, replaced with piece of thread and nuts, not ideal and left hand one has now snapped, rust has finished them off, figured given the mess the current ones in would make sense to replace with a more solid one

Hi Richard can you post a photo of the damage. Paul is right that usually nothing is wrong with the manifold. Snapped off bolts can be replaced. The nuts that hold the manifold connected to the head should be copper not steel.

Will go and look send me text whatsapp or call 07973423795
Off on holiday at weekend so will respond asap 99 per cent sure I've got a dead engine with manifold still on it in my dedicated R4/rodeo storage lockup but need to go there and check I've not buried it

got a complete 956cc engine in the drive you can steal bits off and I'm only in Poole

Thanks Eoynteenie, Mr Reno is hunting one out but if not I shall be over with my spanners, out of interest are you breaking your motor for parts cheers Richard

May be too late now, but if the studs are the ones clamping up the exhaust to the manifold then I would be inclined to take the manifold to a machine shop and have them fit two new studs. Not hard for them, shouldn't be too costly for you.

All sorted, studs were OK and back on the road
