1972 Renault 4s FASA Built in Spain . What BAR rating should the cooling system expansion tank cap be rated at . Thank you .

Rating for plastic expansion bottle cap, 0.7bar,, unsure of glass bottle rating, but piezas have offer on for hold down ring for glass bottle €5 instead of €8 right now

My car came with a plastic expansion tank so I presume that is how it should be . I have seen lot's of variations on bar ratings for caps so can I ask where you got your information from .

Bar rating was off of various sites selling 4 parts, if bar rating was quoted 0.7 was figure for caps
