F4 body issues

I have just bought a 1987 Fourgonette which is a little battered but pretty much sound and original. The chassis and floor pan is in excellent nick, but the rear tailgate side pillar has rusted badly and needs replacing - probably with new hinges for the rear door. I have looked online, particularly on European sites, to see if anyone manufactures a repair panel but cannot find anything.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and/or found a fix for it? Would really appreciate any advice.
