F6 rear door latch falling apart

This vertical edge on which the door latch is welded was a right floppy corroded fatigued mess.
I drilled out the spot welds and added a long strip so the edge was now triple.
The beauty of this is that any lacy bits on the left or the right can be welded to the fresh middle strip.
Its very important to clamp everything tight.

Maybe not to this extent!!!
