foot brake light switch

I took the car for a little run today and it ran a bit better than a few days ago but now my brake lights won't go off, I checked the push rod behind the brake pedal and it's working fine, is this a faulty switch and if so where can I buy one.

Did you already check the fuses?

I've had a instance with a Renault 9 which had a "stuck" brakelight. It turned out to be as simple as a light bulb put in wrong. Might be worth a check.
The partnumber for the switch is 77.00.562.527.

good news week

I put the new plugs in the car and a new air filter plus a dizzy top and fired it up but still not 100% I then took of the air breather pipe from the carb to the rocker cover and low and behold it was blocked with all the cr*p of the day from lying around for a few years, after wards I fired it up and away we go PPPPPPPPerfect, running and ticking over beautifully,what a dream machine.

Just bought a brake light switch from ebay this morning for 99p, so I should be back on the road again early this week.
