Front Cross Beam

Hi.
I'm not sure if 'front cross beam' is the right name for it.
It's the bit the bonnet bolts onto.
Anyway mine is rotten and was wondering if replacing it is a simple bolt on job or is welding required.

it's welded. But if your frame is straight and you cut the old one propelry it is quite easy to fit it and weld. I've done it yesterday on my car. Bought the cheapest on franzose.de and it's not bad quality.

You can bolt it at the bottom ( 4 holes for screws where engine cover is mounted ) and it should be on it's place.
