Hello.

Please can somebody recommend which brake pads are required for a 1984 LHD R4 with front drum brakes ?
Even better does anyone have a set ?

Many Thanks .

Drum brakes have shoes all bendix type need to know diameter 180 200 or 225 mm then front or rear handbrake type and possibly even manual or auto adjust
All 84 uk cars were disc by this point as only gtl sold
Depending which European market your lhd car was sold things changed good luck

Thanks for response chaps. How can I tell what type are on the car and what size I need ? The car is French LHD with handbrake at the front .
Many thanks for your time chaps.

Actually just remembered I've got a big box of front shoes I threw all the bonded ones away but if you get drum off to measure inside diameter of drum and take a photo I will send you a set cheap
Be aware it is good practice to change wheel cylinder s at same time because new shoes will push pistons back in further into no doubt rusty cylinder then they will leak all over the shoes you've just fitted
