front pulley revolution

Hi,
Does the small pulley at the front of the 845cc engine revolve at the same rate as the crank pulley? Im wondering whether it would be possible to fit an ignition system like the mega jolt to this engine which uses a 36 tooth wheel attached to the crank pulley to work out crank position.

It's the camshaft pulley so it goes around at half the speed of the engine. If it is possible to convert the wheel to 72 teeth it should work.
